Diagnosis: This variety, like also Ccusi has a separate position among the South-American varieties.
Habitus is very peculiar. Plants are very high (they refer to the highest in the whole collection). Stems are erect, decumbent only at the basis, with numerous axillary branches. Leaves are peculiar, with small, rare leaflets and very weakly basiscopic primary leaflets. Leaf varies strongly from ávar. ccusi with which maybe it should be compared. There are very few berries.
Cultivated in dep. Cuzco: Yuncay pampa, Poroy, Soncco huichay, S. Jeronimo; Acomayo: Pomacanchi.
